For Adjusters

I offer independent medical examinations. I provide opinions about orthopedic injuries including care, causation, apportionment, impairment ratings, use of the Official Disability Guidelines (ODG) and future medical treatment.

After 35 years in private practice, I’m now retired and focus on helping adjusters and attorneys in orthopedic cases. I have worked with plaintiff’s attorneys, adjusters, defense attorneys, and others involved in the administration of medical care. I offer medical record reviews with a report addressing all the above issues.

I am available for telephone conference opinions about orthopedic surgery care. I provide rapid response and written review reports. I have a medical license to practice in New Mexico and Colorado. I am available for court testimony in New Mexico and Colorado.

My fee schedule is “opinion” friendly, to encourage simple early conference before medical care gets complicated. For example, if a client is not responding to care in the appropriate manner, could there be a wrong diagnosis? There is no charge in a telephone conference up to 18 minutes. These short phone calls facilitate getting answers to many questions with an informal opinion.  This way I am doing the work in exchange for your call and at no obligation to you.

If more service is needed, such as an IME or record review for medical expenses, I offer to review the records and call you with my estimate of the cost of the service. There is no obligation until you ask for a specific service and usually at a specific price.

My complete fee schedule is available immediately if you email me at BillChesnutMD@comcast.net or call 505-501-7667 (dial all 10 digits).
